On April 23, 2021, the mandatory national standard project seminar of the Technical Requirements for Safety of Cables for Coal Mines was held in Zhejiang. Leaders and members of the standard drafting group of the National Mine Supervision Bureau, the National Center for Safety Standards, middling coal Technology and Industry Group Shanghai Co., Ltd., and representatives of some large domestic cable enterprises attended the conference. Due to the widespread use and diverse types of cables used in coal mines, their safety performance has a significant impact on coal mine safety production. Currently, there is no national standard to regulate and unify the safety performance requirements of coal mine cables. It is necessary to develop a unified standard to regulate the safety performance requirements of coal mine cables and effectively reduce safety production accidents caused by cables. According to the "Notice of the National Standardization Management Committee on Issuing the Revision Plan for 44 Mandatory National Standards such as" Car Tires "(National Standard Committee [2019] No. 14), Plan No. 20190079-Q-627, the" Technical Requirements for Safety of Coal Mine Cables "standard is formulated. The project is led by middling coal Technology and Industry Group Shanghai Co., Ltd., Shanghai Coal Technology Testing Technology Co., Ltd., and Safety Standard National Mining Product Safety Mark Center Co., Ltd. Our company and Shanghai Pudong Wire and Cable (Group) Co., Ltd., middling coal Cable Co., Ltd., Fujian Nanping Solar Cable Co., Ltd., Changzhou Marine Cable Co., Ltd., Shanghai Shenghua Cable (Group) Co., Ltd., Anhui Lingyu Cable Co., Ltd., Shandong Yankuang Group Changlong Cable Manufacturing Co., Ltd., Sunway Co., Ltd., Ordos Shendong Testing Co., Ltd., etc. participated in the drafting of standards. The drafting group, in accordance with the objective requirements of coal mine safety needs and the development of the coal mine cable industry, formulated standards based on GB/T 1.1-2020 "Guidelines for Standardization Work Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents", emphasizing scientificity, guidance, and practicality during the preparation process. Based on the latest "Coal Mine Safety Regulations" and referring to the requirements and testing methods of the new versions of GB/T12972, GB/T 3048, MT/T 386, GB/T 2951, GB/T 7594 and other standards. The project was launched in June 2019, and this meeting aimed to improve and revise the draft for soliciting opinions, striving to form a standard approval draft as soon as possible.
